What you can do to help.

Dear Ward 10 Resident:

If you are interested in the community, and would like to help, the following are areas in which volunteers would be helpful.

Information Table
Most will correctly note that “information tables do not vote”, but that does not lessen the need to have one’s name visible to possible voters. If you are willing to assist me in manning information tables at various shopping malls, please contact me. contact

Attending events
There are a number of events that take place throughout the community. I will try to attend as many as possible but, obviously, I cannot meet my obligations as a father and a husband if I participate in all that are offered. With that said, if anyone knows of an event that I should attend , please contact me prior to the event. contact

Standing with a sign
There are a number of opportunities to “market” a candidate or party through the holding of signs. Oftentimes, I choose hours that are not typical to those expected and I seem to be out there more than the others. I will need to have as much support as possible in this area. If anyone can spare an hour, here-and-there, to hold a sign and wave to those who pass by, please contact me. contact

Manning the councillor office in Gillitts
If anyone is interested in helping to man my councillor office in Gillitts please let me know. contact

Volunteering your time
There are so many ways to help, that I could not possibly list them all. This serves as an all-encompassing request for such services. contact

Hosting a “Coffee”
This would be a small meeting, at your home, with friends and neighbors where I come and speak to those in attendance. In addition, attendees could ask me any questions they may have in order to learn my stance on a variety of issues. I feel trust is better earned through personal discussion rather than cold rhetoric. contact

I appreciate your consideration and look forward to your support in the upcoming process. I hope you will get involved. The experience of the campaign is a lot of fun and the increased conversations can only prove to make me a better representative.
